Miss Preteen Indiana

Oh, gosh. Don't you hate it when you go to the grocery store for one thing, but come home with a busted bank account?

This. Just. Happened.

Luckily most of my purchases were ingredients for this weekend's baking, but I did happen to splurge an extra $1.60 on a special treat.
Bonne Bell Dr. Pepper Lip Smacker!

Man, oh, man, I'm such a preteen. I can't get enough of this stuff. It's the perfect color, the smell is divine, and it's cheap enough to stash one in each of my rooms and in every purse (well, okay, maybe not every purse).

Add this to the fact that I use Strawberry Teen Spirit deodorant (because Teen Spirit is the strongest and has the best smell!), and I'm sure you will lose all respect for my opinions about beauty products.

But, surely, I'm not alone in this. Right? I mean, my mom uses baby oil and Johnson & Johnson's baby lotion. That's waaaaay more juvenile than Lip Smackers and Teen Spirit. Right? Right??!

What are some of the things from your childhood that are now a part of your beauty or upkeep routine?
