I need a (super) hero
People tell me all the time that "Indiana Adams" sounds like a superhero name, and sometimes people ask me if I am, in fact, a superhero. Sorry, kids. I wish.
If I could be a superhero, I would be The G'litterer (pronounced guh-lit'-er-er). I'd kinda be like Spiderman, 'cept instead of shooting a web-like substance from my wrist, I'd shoot glitter. Glitter is awesome and usually makes me so happy, but as Demetri Martin once said, "Glitter is the herpes of craft supplies", so depending on how you see it, my G'litterer superpowers can be used for both good and evil.
I was feeling superhero-esque this morning in my new thrifted Power Rangers t-shirt:
date: 22 August 2009
occasion: frantically cleaning the house like a coked out janitor
shirt: thrifted via Savers (yesterday)
skirt: American Apparel
belt: Buffalo Exchange (new merch)
shoes: thrifted via Savers
sunglasses: Urban Outfitters
Today the hubs and I are cleaning our house like mad because we leave in a week for Boston and then California. Our awesome friend is house and dog sitting, so we want to make sure we leave them with a clean house. Plus, it's always nice to come back from vacation to a neat home.
If the G'litterer could have a second superpower (like Spiderman has his Spidey Sense), I'd want her to be able to make her house clean itself... kinda like Mary Poppins, 'cept without all the song and dance fanfare. I just need it to get done, pronto!
