Adored Boston?

From this Saturday, August 29 until next Friday, September 4, I will be in Boston. I've never been to Boston before, and I'm really, really excited. I don't know how much shopping we'll get to do as Hubs and I are visiting his mother, but I imagine we'll get out and about daily. Any suggestions on where I should go? Food? Thrifting? Affordable and unique decor?
