You got your weekend plans?

Before I go to bed, I wanted to tell y'all about three awesome events going on tomorrow night. Or today. (I guess it depends on when you're reading this post!). Ahem! Let's start over!

Before I go to bed, I wanted to tell y'all about three awesome events happening Saturday, June 19th. Unfortunately, you can't do all three due to some overlap (unless you have an evil clone that we don't know about), but here are some awesome options for you. First up are two fashion events:

1. The Treasure City Thrift Recycled Fashion Show.

This is all ages, and it's only a $5 donation for entry. It all starts at 7 p.m., and all proceeds go to Treasure City. The runway show starts at 8:00 (but come early to watch the kids strut their stuff in a pre-show fashion show). There will be 30 local designers who have found clothes in the Treasure City racks and transformed them into high-end fashion. Mike Litt (yes, that's his real name) always throws the most fun events, and I am so looking forward to this. I'll be on hand shooting some video and taking street style photos.

2. The World Wide Manic Foundation Launch.

This one is for the fancier crowd. Tickets run $49- $129, but if you use the code TRIBEZA to buy tickets in advance, you can take $20 off. The famed Richie Rich will be showing off his fashions (along with other designers), and all of Austin's elite will be in attendance. The proceeds from the ticket sales all go to a very good cause, and I'd be there in a heartbeat if I didn't have a prior commitment!

Lastly (and yes, I know it's not fashion related) is:
3. Hollywood Gossip's CD Release Party.

I love me some Cory Ryan. Her band, Hollywood Gossip, has been all over the local media lately. The town is all abuzz about their newest CD, and Hubs reports that he heard them on Texas Music Matters (we love NPR and KUT!). The show is 21+ and is $6 at the Ghost Room. The first 25 people get free CD's! The show starts at 10 p.m., so it is entirely feasible to do one of the fashion events AND the Hollywood Gossip show. That's what I'm going to attempt to do!
