Skate or die!
My life cracks me up. As the social media director of Flash Mob Austin, I've been able to do some really cool stuff: I've lead a world record breaking Thriller dance, I've conducted a live Where's Waldo Search, and I helped organize a freeze in Whole Foods and spontaneous choreography on 2nd Street. On Twitter yesterday, I posted some other fun facts about myself. Did you know that in high school I worked in a factory (I was on the assembly line of a car door latch factory)? I've also won second place in a vegan hot dog eating contest (I only ate 12 in eight minutes... easy). And I don't really like water (to drink or to swim in).
Something else that people wouldn't guess about me is that I used to really like skateboarding. Since I'm trying to makeover myself in May, I thought a good place to start would be to work out and get outside more. I used to skateboard a teeny bit in college, so I borrowed a board from my friend Eric and attempted to use it yesterday (I sold mine on Craigslist when I moved to Austin). I set up the tripod to film a video and then I realized I'm not as good as I used to be:
Did anyone else here skate when you were younger?
What are some tidbits about yourself that no one would guess about you?
