Belt this
I belt everything. I am convinced that adding a belt makes my manish figure look more ladylike. I could be wrong in this, and I'm sure that in a couple years from now I'll look back on old photos and wonder, "Why did I belt that?!"
Future self, if you're looking at this post and wondering that, please know that you bought this skirt at the thrift store and it had a busted elastic waist which you hadn't yet replaced. The belt was a necessity to keep said skirt up. (There is no explanation for this, though).
