Sewing pattern haul, oh my!

I've been on a sewing kick lately. I did Mitchell's and Jude's Halloween costumes (sans pattern):

And last weekend I got ten patterns at Joann's since they were five for $5:patternsI'm going to start with the cropped sweat pants. I found an amazing gold lamé stretch knit for those. Next I'm going to move to that slouchy short sleeved t-shirt (in blue on the second pattern). I found a fantastic graphic print sweatshirt material in the clearance bin for that. After that I'm going to try one of the Lisette patterns using something from my ever increasing fabric stash, and after that I'll tackle a Cynthia Rowley dress. I know it's quite ambitious for a novice seamstress, but I'm excited to get better at sewing.
Have any of you tried any of these patterns? I know Alyson has the same sweat pants pattern. Do any of you? Is anyone else up for a sew along? Do you have any advice for me since I'm working with knits for the first time?
I can't wait to show you how they turn out! I'll start ironing, pinning, and cutting out my sweat pants pattern tomorrow... after my trip to the American Apparel Outlet, of course.
