Best birthday, yet!

This weekend was amazing. When I was a kid, I hated that my birthday was so close to Halloween. My family would usually just buy a Halloween cake (usually with a witch on it) from the grocery store and pipe "Happy Birthday" on it.

Now that I'm older, I don't hate having my birthday so close to Halloween anymore. It's an excellent excuse to have a themed dress up party and make my friends participate. This year the theme was Golden Girls because it was my golden birthday (which means I turned 30 on the 30th). Let's keep that age under wraps because in the acting world, I'm only 26, mmmkay?:

Twenty two of my most favorite people dressed like senior citizens and joined me for dinner at Luby's followed by a ten rousing games of dirty Bingo. I was incredibly impressed that most of my friends went full out in their costumes. I only regret that I took so few photos:
